Christmastime at the Crescent Hotel
Christmastime at The Crescent Hotel has become one of the region’s most popular winter holiday traditions. Truly the happiest time of year for families to gather and Lifetime Memories to be Captured, the hotel has a full schedule of activities for visitors, residents, and guests. All dressed up for the season, the hotel provides a festive backdrop for making holiday memories and capturing family photos. Guests will enjoy themed holiday events with activities like the Christmas Forest Lighting, holiday arts & crafts, cookies at bedtime, and a firepit marshmallow roast. Santa is here, but so is Grinch. A Spooky Twist on A Christmas Carol is a thrill but no worries there is sweetness at the Gingerbread House and heartwarming stories with Mrs. Claus by the fire. Christmas begins on the first week of December and runs until the Ice Rink Opens New Years' Week.
East Lawn Christmas Tree Forest
Saturday, December 3rd at 6 pm for the lighting of the trees. FREE - Open to the Public.
Head to the back porch and see more than 30 trees adorned with holiday cheer and charity in their heart. Located on the the hotel's East Lawn, each tree is uniquely decorated for a different local and area charity. Guests vote for your favorite tree until December 31st. Each tree's "votes" plus a little extra from the hotel will be donated to that charity. The Christmas Forest has raised over $40,000 since its inception.
Holly Jolly Painting Party & Cheer
December 16th
Celebrate the holidays with a Holly Jolly Painting Party & Holiday Cheer.
Join experienced long-time art teacher, Jessica Cummings, for a fun night full of laughs, paints, and drinks! You will head home with new friends and a gorgeous one-of-a-kind work of art to be proud of. $40 per person, painting supplies & 2 glasses of wine included. Starts at 6PM.

Breakfast Buffet with Santa Claus
Sunday, December 4th
No Christmas is complete without a visit from Santa Claus. Photos with Santa are a Crescent tradition. Santa's Breakfast will be held in our beautiful Crystal Dining Room from 10 am to 12 pm, featuring a wide variety of sweet and savory breakfast favorites. Whether naughty or nice, everyone will enjoy holiday tunes of Kurt Hunter. Reserve your table by paying in advance

Meet in the lobby to join our hotel baker for a fun and interactive decorating tradition! Choose from different design options to create either holiday-themed gingerbread cookies or help complete the lobby gingerbread house. Everyone takes a gingerbread snack back to their room.
Teddy Bear Tea
Sunday, December 18th
Make a Lifetime Memory when you join us for our 2nd Annual Teddy Bear Tea. The Crystal Dining Room at the 1886 Crescent Hotel is the perfect setting for an enchanting holiday celebration. Guests are invited to savor a child-friendly tea menu and hot cocoa. Designed for young guests and their families. We encourage guests to bring their favorite Teddy Bear or doll to share tea with. Each paid adult admission includes one child admission.

Candy Cane Hunt & Toy Drive
Saturday, December 17th
Step aside as dozens of kids enjoy the annual Candy Cane Hunt at the Crescent Hotel. Similar fun to the Easter Egg Hunt, this search happens indoors and ends when all the candy canes are found. Each age group will have its own areas for the hunt. Starting at 3PM.
Participants are asked to bring a Toy for Tots or reserve a $5 donation voucher in advance. All proceeds to charity

Real Ice Skating Rink
Tentatively Opening December 26th
The only location in Arkansas to skate on a truly frozen pond is at the Crescent Hotel & Spa.
So many laughs, so many spills. Learn to Skate, Slide a Curling Rock, Enjoy a warm campfire and tasty s'mores while others slide around on the ice.
Lifetime Memories are made on the frozen pond.
Weather dependent, the rink is expected to open in the last week of December or the first week in January.

All Month Long in December
Thousands of lights come alive around the grounds of the Crescent Hotel. Lighted pathways take you through the gardens, to the Christmas Tree Forest (backside of hotel) with fun memorable family photo backdrops. Explore the Trail! Follow the Crescent Trail (front of hotel) down into the valley of Glennwood Hollow and take your 2023 Family portrait at the Glenwood arbor.
