Historical Hiking Tour Wednesday at 2PM (meet in lobby)
Harmon Park Loop is a beginner 1.4 mile hike starting right out the front doors of the Crescent Hotel. It features a Playground, Skate park for the kiddos and a Dog park for our best friends to run free. Grab a map at the Concierge’s desk or at the trail head.
In town Trails are available for year round use. The most direct way to get downtown is using Magnolia Trail, access is across the street from the fountain garden path. In 7 short minutes you will find yourself in the heart of downtown to view the Historic Homes, Shops and Natural Springs. To include some history on your way Downtown take Kansas Street past the Red Brick School house and Sweet Spring.
Black Bass Lake is a peaceful park with trails close to town that feels miles from anywhere. Only 1.1 miles away from the hotel that includes 5 miles of hiking trails along the bluff line as well as around the lake and historic dam.
Lake Leatherwood City Park is 2.5 miles drive from the Crescent Hotel and includes over 25 miles of hiking/biking trails as well as kayaking, fishing, camping and a playground. Lake Leatherwood City Park is a place of natural serenity encompassing 1,610 acres of the Ozark Mountain countryside which includes an 85 acre spring-fed lake and a hand-cut native limestone dam that you can walk across.
